The
“Scream” was painted by Edward Munch in 1893. It's an oil
painting and it shows a man on the bridge. The dramatic scenery
includes a man with fear face in the foreground and in the background
you can see a lake and one river.
The
type of work is typical of expressionism, and art movement wich
started in Germany in the s.XX. The expressionism intend to deform
reality to express the meaning of life more clearly.
The
“Scream” was first exhibited in 1895 and in 1994 it was stalen.
In 2012 the “Scream” was bought by Sotheby for 119,9million
dolars.
